“I decided to take my boyfriend, as a surprise, here for our 4-year anniversary and chose this spot because of how cozy and cabin-ey it looked. It’s safe to say that we were not disappointed at all. We ended up getting there early and Darrin, the owner, let us check in early which was super nice. It was a warm welcome like we were returning home and were also greeted by a cute golden retriever. We stayed in the cozy pine suite and it was wonderful. Super cozy and loved everything about it. Every morning there was breakfast and everyone was spread out and you just picked a spot with a table setting and they brought it out to you. The food was delicious and I wouldn’t stop talking about it - haha. Something also worth mentioning, I really liked how this was right outside the hustle and bustle of things but just a short 4-minute drive from activities. It was a perfect location. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating we wished we could’ve stayed so much longer. I will recommend this place to anyone who loves that classic cabin feel and wants that experience. I thank both Amy and Darrin for making our stay so memorable!!”

“Our son booked Gold Mountain Manor for a small family wedding after their original venue was canceled due to covid. It was amazing! The lodge and grounds were beautiful, and made for a magical experience! Amy and Darrin were outstanding hosts, making us feel like family! The stress usually associated with a wedding never happened, thanks to them! I highly recommend Gold Mountain Manor for anything from a quick weekend getaway to your next event. They were wonderful!”

“This spot offered everything we needed at a much higher quality than just a hotel. It had so many cozy nooks to spend time together in, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. We greatly enjoyed playing chess and pool in the game room. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very accommodating. We are already planning to come back another time.”

“Wish we could've stayed longer. My wife and I stayed for 5 nights to rest, relax, and unwind. This is the perfect place for it. We enjoyed the warmth of the fire while reading books after relaxing walks and hikes. The inn is less than a block from the national forest, so it is just a short walk to incredible nature hikes. The owners were extremely welcoming and served a home-cooked breakfast every morning, which was the highlight of our day. I wish we could give them 6 stars out of 5.”

“To anyone looking for a rustic wedding destination with gorgeous scenery and attentive staff, look no further than Gold Mountain Manor. From the initial visit to the final goodbye, Amy, Darrin, and staff were always there to support and help out in any way they could. When we first arrived, we were greeted warmly by the staff and shown to our rooms. Any issues we had (which were very few) were handled promptly and professionally. We had the pleasure of hosting our rehearsal dinner at the manor and everyone loved eating on the back patio while enjoying the Big Bear summer night. The day of the wedding was absolutely beautiful, and Amy and Darrin were wonderful when it came to working with the vendors and keeping everything organized. Thanks to them and the rest of the staff at Gold Mountain Manor, our wedding was better than we ever imagined. To top it all off, breakfast was served every morning to guests staying at the manor and it was delicious! I cannot say enough good things about this venue and the wonderful people working there. Thank you Gold Mountain Manor!”

“When I was looking for places to get married and with the challenges of Covid-19, things were not the easiest. I actually came across Gold Mountain Manor through Google's search and it was one of many I was planning to look at. The next day, we, my fiancé and I, decided we were going to start looking at locations and decided to start with Gold Mountain since they were the closest to us. Pulling into the driveway we absolutely loved it. We met with Amy, the manager, the following day and chose the Manor for our wedding, without looking elsewhere. Amy was so helpful throughout the few months of finding everything we needed and on our wedding day, she was out there early in the morning with a few others getting everything set up perfectly. Our wedding was a huge success and we actually stayed the night just so we didn't have to rush things that night or the next morning. We had the Manor all to ourselves, mainly because it was a Wednesday night, and then Darren made us breakfast the following morning which was AMAZING! I have lived up here for over 25 years and honestly never knew that this place was here. I am so grateful that it popped up on the Google search and if you are looking for a place to hold your wedding and you love the outdoors, Gold Mountain Manor is definitely the place. Thank you Amy and Darren and the rest of the staff at Gold Mountain for making our wedding incredible and fabulous. ”

“If you're looking for a place to do a wedding in Big Bear, you need to seriously consider Gold Mountain Manor. Amy and her team are amazing. They take great care of you and your guests to make sure your day goes as smoothly as possible. We were very worried about doing our intimate wedding during a pandemic but they made it so easy and we're so accommodating! Not only did we get a beautiful white wedding (which they also handled the snow amazingly) but Amy and her team made the day go on without a hitch and stress-free. The venue itself is also gorgeous and not too far from the village. The garden is perfect for a small to medium-sized wedding and does great in all seasons. We had snow on the day of our wedding and it was gorgeous but when we first viewed it was a clear day and still was an amazing and beautiful venue. I would highly recommend Gold Mountain Manor for your wedding venue!”

“We cannot even begin to describe how beautiful and special our wedding was at the Gold Mountain Manor! Amy, Darren, and the staff made our weekend there a time we will always remember. It was a perfect place for our family to come together and celebrate our marriage. Our ceremony took place in their magical garden with the perfect amount of snow on the ground. Afterward, the reception was held indoors and on the veranda with hundreds of gorgeous twinkly lights. The beauty that the Manor provides for a wedding ceremony and reception is indescribable. Our stay as newlyweds in the Presidential Suite was remarkable as well. The Gold Mountain Manor staff prepared the suite for us in such a special way that as we looked around the room in awe, we thought to ourselves “How could this day have gotten any better?”. The next morning, the staff had a delicious breakfast prepared for us and our families on the veranda which brought the weekend to an absolutely perfect end. We often reminisce on our time at the manor and wish we could relive the moment again. Thank you Gold Mountain Manor for a dream come true wedding and a weekend we will always remember!”
